Brian Costello

Director

Pedram Firooztash

Chief Economist and Portfolio Services Manager

Brian Costello has spent many years working and teaching in the financial industries. As a former airline pilot, both domestic and international, Brian served as a branch secretary of the Australian Federation of Air Pilots and secretary of the Papua New Guinea Air Pilots Association. This environment was one free of commercial bias and in this capacity Brian disseminated impartial financial guidance to these groups. This attitude has carried over into his current work where he teaches his many years of knowledge for the benefit of the community rather than commercial gain.

Brian Costello serves on the board of Quality Practice Australia (QPA), the provider of medical accreditation to the health industry, Qantas Founders Memorial Ltd and Rural Health Medical Infrastructure Trust (RHMIT). RHMIT is an investment unit trust which was established as a means of addressing the diminishing medical profession in rural Australia. The Qantas Founders Memorial Ltd manages Qantas artefacts, the Longreach museum and promotes outback tourism.

In addition to being one of Australia's most sought after presenters, Brian is also recognised as a brilliant teacher and communicator. Brian presents over 150 seminars a year and makes regular appearances on radio, television and in the print media.

Pedram holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. Pedram has an interest in blending fundamental analysis with technical analysis to appropriately enter and exit the share market.

Pedram has developed retail businesses in Tasmania and moved from Iran in 1985 as a Baha'i Faith refugee and teenager, learning English and starting a new life from scratch.

Pedram has had to build a life from nothing and identifies with those seeking to learn and apply themselves to the financial markets with an aim to being self reliant and successful. Pedram sees ethics as paramount to successful investing and personal growth in ones life and this is reflected in his relationships with clients.
